"Ian, don't kill the Oranges; they're my only hope for friends." -Drew, 06/18/2003

I just thought I'd share my playlist, since I'm enjoying it so much.

  • Johnny Cash - I Fought the Law
  • Cake - Comfort Eagle
  • Tenacious D - Kyle Quit the Band
  • They Might Be Giants - For Science
  • Red Cloud - Traveling Circus
  • Jack Johnson - Pirate Look at Forty
  • They Might Be Giants - The Famous Polka
  • Kermit the Frog - Lydia the Tatooed Lady
  • Cornershop - Brimful of Asha
  • Rufus Wainwright - Hallelujah
  • Bino White - Welcome to the UofC
  • DVDA - Now You're a Man
  • Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal
  • Weezer - Pink Triangle
  • Cake - Stickshifts and Saftybelts
  • Goo Goo Dolls - Black Baloon
  • Ashley MacIsaac - Brenda Stubbert

The only reason They Might Be Giants' "Youth Culture Killed My Dog" isn't on there, too, is that I already got a little tired of it. This Playlist is so cheerful and great, I'm thinking of just throwing in the songs my brother requested and burning it as the mix CD I promised him. Er, well, I'd have to drop "Kyle Quit the Band" and "Welcome to the UofC", but that many songs wouldn't've fit on a CD anyway.

On another musical note, it appears that I may have just bought an indie record label (for cheaps, of course). And not just any indie record label, Loren Jan Wilson's indie record label. I'm so honoured. Will I be able to fill his shoes? I can only hope so. As I've said before, "He is just god-like", which is true. If I know anyone who's super-human, it's Loren.

It occurred to me today that I tend to want the unattainable. I'm going to try to work that into my SOSC paper on facism. Working title: "On the Inherant Appeal of Ideal Facism". Have I yet mentioned that I'm going to try to make all my papers have the title "On the (Inherant) _______ of (Ultimate/Ideal) _______"? 'Cause I am.

Maybe this is just me, but since when has 'Mideast' referred to the Middle East?
